The Homegoing of Mr. Richard Charles Williams “R.C.”

R.C. Williams was born to the late Marvin C. Williams and Delta (Johnson) Williams on September 9, 1919 in Omaha, Texas.

He was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ in Cason, Texas. He worked on the Justiss Ranch and retired as a Civil Service worker from Ref River Army Depot. He was a hard worker, loving husband, father and grandfather.

Mr. Williams was married to the late Nina Mae Williams for 63 years and to this union seven children were born.

He preceded in death by his parents, his wife Nina Mae Williams, two daughters Wilma D. Chism and Mary L. Fields, one great granddaughter that he raised Nicole Williams, one great-great granddaughter Myricall Terry, a brother Will Williams, Sr., two sisters Nora Lee Williams and Pearline Evans.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sons and two daughters-in-law  Shelton and Cametha Williams, Charles M, and Evelyn Williams all of Omaha, Texas; three daughters and two sons-in-law Wilma Hooks of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; Mae Dean and Floyd Fleming, Appezene and Charles Smith, Jr. all of Omaha, Texas; one great-great granddaughter that he raised Aaliyah (Leah) Williams; twenty eight grandchildren, sixty five great grandchildren , fifty two great great grandchildren; one sister Sara Howard of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family and friends.
