Rev. Dr. Damien N. Williams grew up in Dallas, Texas and attended Dallas Public Schools graduating with honors from David W. Carter High School.   He is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University having earned both a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies and a Master of Arts in Christian Education.  Damien received a Doctorate in Ministry Degree at Anderson University (Clamp Divinity School) in Anderson, South Carolina and holds certificates in Dispute Resolution and Title IX.

Serving in ministry since 1997, Damien is a much sought-after speaker in both churches and schools.  His past ministerial experiences include: Youth Pastor at the historic New Hope Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas and St. Mark Missionary “Most Loved Pastors” in November 2003.  He has served as Pastor of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Cason, Texas, Kilgore Baptist Church in Kilgore, Texas, Executive/Assistant Pastor of Sweet Home Baptist in Round Rock, Texas, Pastor of New Generation Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas, was founding/lead pastor of The Word Church DFW, Senior Pastor of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.  In December 2019, Rev. Dr. Damien N. Williams was called as the Fourteenth Pastor of the historic New Hope Baptist Church, the oldest African American church in Dallas, Texas, organized July 27, 1873, and entirely owned and organized by Black people.   Damien is currently on the Board of Directors for the Southeast Area of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and founder of Damien Williams Ministries, Inc.

Damien is married to Dr. LaStassia Williams, a registered nurse. They have  five children, Jernecia,   Peyton, Paige, Parker and Paxton.
