GAYL HOBBSGayl Hobbs moved to Dallas in 2010 continuing her concierge career working as a front desk agent at the Sheraton hotel downtown. Later, she was offered the job as Head Concierge at the Omni before the hotel opened. While working at the Omni, she has assisted many VIP guest from CeCe Winans, Larry Hagman (“J.R.” Ewing) Tisha Campbell, from sport personalities, to government officials.

Gayl is a graduate of Chapman University in Orange, California with a B.A. degree in Communications with an emphasis in Radio/Television Broadcasting.

After graduating she perused her interest in communications working with GTE and Bell South, from Ft. Lauderdale, Fl and then on to Atlanta Georgia. There in Atlanta she worked on special projects for the Olympics and Delta Airlines.

After 22 years her interest moved in the direction of hospitality. Gayl started as a concierge site manager then after 3 years became Vice President of Concierge International overseeing several site managers herself. For her 50th birthday she opened her own residential concierge company “It’s Personal” .

After much success, she decided to move back home to Texas to be near her family.

Gayl sits on the board of directors for the Dallas Hotel Concierge Association which keeps her busy around town with restaurants tastings, concerts, plays and anything a guest may ask her about the goings on in Dallas, she’s there! In her spare time she works with The Black Academy Of Arts And Letters steering committees, and a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church.
