LOCAL CAFÉ LAUNCHES MONTHLY WELLNESS SERIES

classic cup cafeClassic Cup Café (8204 Elmbrook Suite 196) is pleased to announce that the organic soul food restaurant in the city’s Stemmons Corridor will be launching a new wellness series to kick off April 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event is the first in a monthly series called “Food, Fitness and Fun.” The April class will be led by Dallas-based fitness instructor Erika Benjamin. The initial “grand opening” event will kick off an ongoing series of events designed to promote a consistent lifestyle of healthy eating combined with fun fitness activities to stimulate health and wellness.

In addition to group fitness and fitness demos, Classic Cup Café’s first monthly wellness event will also featuring healthy cooking demonstrations. The ultimate goal is to help the many patrons of the popular café to create and sustain a higher quality of life through regular exercise and a healthy, holistic diet.

“We’re very excited to launch our new monthly wellness events at Classic Cup Café,” said Tonne Khabir, executive chef and owner of the cafe. “Finally we’ll be able to combine our daily offering of delicious and healthy organic foods with the other side of wellness: physical fitness. Erika is going to demonstrate at our event in April how fun fitness can be. We invite everyone to join us for this exciting new series of events.”
