EMERITUS OF DALLAS COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT RELEASES TWO NEW BOOKS

Dr. Wright L. Lassiter, Jr., Chancellor Emeritus of the Dallas County Community College District has released his twelfth and thirteenth books. The 12th book is entitled, Precious Memories and chronicles the fifty-five year life that he and his wife, Bessie, enjoyed together. It was written at the request of many individuals who attended the memorial service for Mrs. Lassiter and could serve as a guide book for a successful marriage.

The 13th book – Leadership Reflections: A Leader’s Personal Journey – is one of three books on leadership and leadership development by the author. The purpose of the book is to provide a literal “tool box of ideas, suggestions, and recommendations” for both aspirants to the level of college president, and as a “ready reference” for those already serving as college presidents.
