City of Dallas hosting budget engagement meetings for residents

Facebooklinkedin

Dallas residents are encouraged to participate in community engagement meetings throughout the month of March to help the City plan its operating budget. The goals are to understand the City services that residents value most and where they think the City should adjust spending. Each meeting will include a short explanation of how the City budget works, a question and answer session with City leadership, and an interactive exercise.

Residents who are unable to attend a meeting but want to give feedback can do so by taking the online survey at www.dallascityhall.com. The survey will run through March 31.

Media: Members of the media are encouraged to attend the March 20 meeting at the Pleasant Grove Branch Library. City staff will be available at 5:30 p.m. for interviews.
