Ann Williams:  The Dancing Clairvoyant

Finally, some good news we can all delight in.

The Dallas City Council voted unanimously last week  to rename a significant portion of Flora Street after the clairvoyant dance mistress/minister  to Ann Williams Way.  I just love it.  What a perfect fit.

In Dallas and beyond, Ann Williams is a stunning attraction all year.  A world class fixture, entertaining around-the-world  audiences for decades.  Beside every grand lady is an exemplary staff, board and loyal fans, to wit we extend our sincere congratulations and continued applause.

It has been our pleasure (The Ester Davis Show)  to host the “VIP Red Carpet”  at the VIP Reception for Ann Williams and the Dallas Black Dance Company.   Guests to the Dallas Black Dance are always welcomed in a grand   regal manner.  Ann Williams always creates a distinct atmosphere from beginning to end.  This attention to ambience simply captures the imagination that endures for the entire evening.   When I am on the ‘red carpet’, guests, in glam style normally stop,  chat with me and move on.  One recent story about  Ann Williams.  At the Winsper Opera House several months, two gentlemen in debonair dress wanted to “see Miss Ann Williams and take a picture with her”.  They were out of town guest with extremely sexy accents . . .  and certainly this was a busy time . . . just before the events . . . et cetera . . . et cetera.  They decided to wait, while one of the staff members went to see if she was available.   Well, of course, Miss Ann Williams descended graciously for the capturing of the moment.

Kudos  to The City of Dallas for recognizing a living legend and setting the trend for other cities to emulate.
