What are you doing to hinder your prayers from being answered? Have you been praying to our Heavenly Father about special needs, or desires? How long have you been praying? Perhaps there is unresolved sin in your life that is hindering God from answering your prayers. In the book of Galatians it says, “Do not be deceived, God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows” (Galatians 6:7).

Therefore, don’t be angry with God if you’re prayers are not answered. If you are being disobedient to Him, then you are hindering God’s blessings from coming your way. Take time to search your heart and ask for God’s forgiveness. Truly look to see how you may be doing things your own way. Oftentimes, if we are in total control of our situations, then we are totally messing things up.

If you have been driving the car of your life without seeking God’s will, then you may be in sin. He desires to help you make the right and best decisions for your life. We often want the fastest and easiest way to get what we want done right now. If this is you, press the pause button and see if you are walking in God’s will.

Once we are truly walking in God’s will, He is willing and able to answer our prayers. Are you willing to take inventory of your life? I know I will.

Amen? Amen.
