With a unique name as Aca’Cedric Ware on the roster you expect to see something amazing on the field. During the 2013 Ware never disappointed. And his hard work paid off Monday as he waded through five major college scholarship offers on live television.
At the Got Body Fitness Gym in DeSoto, Wilson was Surrounded by family, friends and cameras of course as he chose to go west to the University of Southern California.
“I’ve decided to take my talents to USC,” said Ware. “I won’t have another opportunity like this in my life.”
Ware himself raved about the benefits of USC to Schrader, saying that academics and weather played a crucial part in his selection process. He plans on studying mechanical engineering at USC Viterbi School of Engineering.
The three star running back only moved to the varsity level during the 2013 season as a Junior.
But he quickly made his presence known. Going into the season Coach Joey McGuire was at ease about his corp of backs. Slighted in their bid for a 2012 State Championship, the Longhorns entered last season with something to prove.
Ware certainly took the challenge personally. In pivotal games he changed the momentum with his foot work.
During the semifinals against Lake Travis, the Longhorns were down but a late quarter 24 yard touchdown bolstered Cedar Hill over the Cavaliers and back in 5A State Championship game.
The game the Longhorns not only won, but Ware scored and tallied 124 yards in a single game.
