Ernest and Dr. Ruth Wyrick with Terrell City Councilman Charles Whitaker and honorees Patricia Harris, Delphia and JosephThe Southwestern Christian College Beautification program held their annual Valor Awards program last month in Terrell, Texas. Among the honorees were Dallas own Ernest and Dr Ruth Wyrick who were selected at the 2013 Man and Woman of Valor for their outstanding work in the church, community, for Southwestern.

The City of Terrell declared Ernest and Ruth Wyrick Day while similar presentations were made to the other recipients: Dr. Bethel Smith Valor Award presented to Patricia Harris of Atlanta; and the Trailblazers of Valor presented to Joseph and Delphia Lett of Sacramento, California.
