STAAR Relief Carnival for DeSoto Students

(DESOTO, TX) — DeSoto ISD’s Amber Terrace Discovery & Design Early Childhood Academy is hosting a STAAR Relief Spring Carnival for the entire community on Friday, April 29 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the school, 224 Amber Lane!

The event will include games, bounce houses, food and drink, prizes and much more as a stress relief between academic testing rounds – State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR). Get your pre-sale carnival tickets for games, rides and refreshments from April 18 to April 29 for a discounted rate of 5 tickets for just $1. Tickets will be 4 for a $1 at the event.

Volunteers are also needed to help run the carnival. Call the school at 972-223-8757 to volunteer.

The fundraiser carnival will help offset growing costs of supplies and the arts program at the campus.
