POWERBALL® TICKET WORTH MORE THAN $1 MILLION CLAIMED BY PLANO RESIDENT

powerball(AUSTIN) – Plano resident Harold Laufgraben has claimed a Powerball® ticket worth $1,000,008. The second-tier prizewinning ticket was purchased in Euless at the RaceTrac at 220 W. Euless Blvd.

His Quick Pick ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers drawn (11-13-25-39-54), but not the red Powerball number (19) for the Feb. 11 drawing for a $564.1 million jackpot. The claimant requested minimal publicity.

The current estimated annuitized Powerball jackpot is $60 million with an estimated cash value of $40.1 million for Saturday night’s drawing.

Powerball jackpots start at $40 million and roll until the jackpot is won. Players win the jackpot by matching the five white ball numbers (1-59) and the red Powerball number (1-35). There are eight other ways to win non-jackpot prizes ranging from $4 to $1 million or up to $2 million if the ticket includes Power Play®. The overall odds of winning a prize in the game are approximately one in 31. The overall odds of winning the jackpot prize are one in 175,223,510.
