Parkland names Guy Toliver Director of Inclusion‐Supplier Diversity

Guy Toliver, JD, has joined Parkland Health & Hospital System as Director of Inclusion – Supplier Diversity.

In his new position, Toliver will oversee programs, services and initiatives designed to enhance the diversity of Parkland’s workforce, vendor community and participation in civic and community organizations. He also will serve as a liaison and develop partnerships within the community to promote diversity and inclusion within the health system.

“We are excited to have Guy join Parkland’s Office of Talent Management,” said Corey Jackson, JD, SPHR, CCP, Parkland’s Executive Vice President and Chief Talent Officer. “Parkland recognizes diversity and cultural competency are key elements in our region’s ever-changing landscape. Guy’s involvement in these areas will be important to Parkland’s success in achieving our strategic diversity goals.”

In Toliver’s previous position as business development manager at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport he was responsible for managing contracts in addition to overseeing business diversity and development. While there, he reviewed joint venture agreement contracts for federal regulatory compliance, and set Airport Concessions Disadvantage Business Enterprise (ACDBE) goals for airport retail, food and beverage and passenger services concessions. In addition, he managed a federal program that supported $400 million in concessions revenue annually.

Toliver received his Juris Doctorate of Law from the University of Oklahoma. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting Control Systems from the University of North Texas. He is also the chair of the Dallas/Fort Worth Minority Supplier Development Council Professional Working Group, and previously was a board member of the Dallas Black Contractors Association and the Greater Southwest Black Chamber of Commerce.
