Thank you all for your generous comments on last week’s article. I am always so grateful to hear from you. It is rewarding to hear “public opinion” whatever your position. We absolutely recorded a record number of emails and thoughts from several cities. Isn’t the internet wonderful?? And yes… Mr. Whoever you are. I will continue to list my contact information. Last time I checked this was still America.
Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price spoke with compassion at Friendship West Baptist Church Sunday, going to Exodus 2:1 “a goodly child” who was hidden in the Queen’s court, then onward to this huma
nitarian opportunity that Dallas County has been offered. The internet and cell phones opened up another channel. When I spoke with the commissioner, he reminded me that there are “800 churches in Dallas County”, and we should be careful. “We are better than this”, he concluded. Speaking with Deacon Arthur Fuller, Brentwood Baptist Church, Houston, who was reading the newspaper online, he quoted Mark 9:36. “Whosoever shall receive one of such children. . .” you know the rest. Online we heard from Mrs. Ruby Jean Washington, a missionary who mention more expressful ‘what is wrong with Texas’. She lives in Jacksonville. She continues with our changing demographics in America and the diehard cultures that refuse to open their eyes and welcome in the changes.
