JANUARY 18, 2014 WILL MARK THE 2NDYEAR ANNIVERSARY OF MR. ALBERT ISAIAH RECORD, SR. PASSING

Friends, family, and members of the community will remember Mr. Record as man faith and dedication. He was a product of Dallas ISD, and a very faithful employee at any job he held. He started working at Pappy Dad’s BBQ where he began to learn his trade of the barbecue business.

In 1969, God blessed him with the wisdom, knowledge, and talent to be the founder of the famous “Record’s Barbecue Inc.” where he worked until his health declined.

However, he continued to provide professional guidance. Many sought his expertise and he always assisted where he could.

Mr. Record was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, two brothers and one grandchild. He leaves to cherish his legacy of memories: A loving wife of 55 years Barbara, six children-Mrs. Felecia Whitten (Robert), Ms. Loquita Record, Mrs. Edith Record-Frazier (Victor), Ms. Rotunda Record, Ms. Kebra Record, Mr. Albert Record, Jr.; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, Viola & Bessie Record, 2 sisterin-laws, and a host of family and friends.
