Happy 93rd Birthday Leo V. Chaney Sr.

Mr. Chaney is a retired entrepreneur and World War II Veteran. One of his most notable ventures was a chain of “Chaney and Sons” cleaners and washaterias in the downtown and southern sectors of Dallas, Texas. Leo Sr. and his late wife Velma Chaney are the parents of Charles Chaney (deceased), Rev. Lowell Chaney Sr., former City Councilman Leo V. Chaney Jr. (deceased), Sheria Overton, Sheila Bellfield and Terrence Chaney. Mr. Chaney has 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. We thank God for blessing us with such a great father, grandfather, and life long civic and community leader these 93 years. His family and friends look forward to celebrating his 93rd birthday and anticipating many more happy years to come.
