City of Farmers Branch – Key to City Event

What: The Mayor of Farmers Branch, Bill Glancy will be giving the key to city and declaring May 3rd as “Miguel Herrera- El Piojo Day”.

Miguel Herrera is the current coach of the Aquila’s de America Soccer Team franchise in Mexico City and is also the Mexican National Soccer Team coach. Last year Miguel Herrera through several tough international soccer matches and a complete team remake brought back Mexico from possible elimination of the World Cup Tournament. Highly controversial and always in the news this is a great opportu-nity for soccer fans to meet their idol in person. The first 200 fans will enjoy the opportunity to meet and greet our guest “El Piojo” and have the opportunity to take a
photograph and receive a personalized autograph.

Everyone is welcomed to come to our grand celebration along with the City of Farmers Branch.

This is a continuation of what has already begun “The new beginning for the city and the community especially with Hispanics in Farmers Branch” Miguel Herrera is the official coach of the National Mexican Soccer Team and who will be representing Mexico in the most important soccer event in the world. “Miguel Herrera’s presence will definitely be a friendly link between the city and the community” says Ken current General Manager for the store. “We want to invite all soccer fans to come in and experience what makes Super-mercado El Rancho so different and to realize the hard work everyone on our team does to create opportunities, let’s move forward together”.
