Celebrating the life of Lois E. Smith
|Lois Everlyn Smith was born December 20 1953 to the parentage of Jimmy and Mittie Moore
Lois was born in Teague, TX Freestone County. She was the oldest of eight children.
Lois went home to the Lord unexpectedly on the 19th of June at 6:30 am.
She attended school in Teague and Dallas, TX the family moved to Dallas in 1961 Lois accepted Christ at an early age and she just rededicated her life this year 2015. And was a member of the Fountain of the living word church under the leadership of Apostle Jerry and Pastor Tami Skelton.
She was a devoted mother, spouse, sister, friend, grandparent and more. She loved spending time and cooking for her family. She was one of the best cooks.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents and baby sister Gloria Moore
She leaves to cherish her memories
Her significant other Nathan Faniel of 34 years, one son Gerry Smith (Antoinette)
Gwendolyn Warren (Charles) Emerioum Smith (K) Elizabeth Faniel (Ross) nine grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Four sisters and two brothers and four brother in-laws. Mattie (Rick) Thelma (Fred) Jimmy Moore, Dorothy (Rufus) Shelia (Floyd), James ,Niece Tawanna Greathouse nephews Ray, Chris, Quinten, Jessie Moore special Aunt, Louise and Lillie Beck, Modene Taylor .special Uncle Odell Beck and a host of others relatives and friends.
The viewing will be Thursday at Golden Gate Funeral home 4155 RL Thornton Fwy @ 1:00 PM
The Funeral will be at Fountain of the living word church 2543 E. Ledbetter @ 12:00 PM
