Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month!

What: In recognition of National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 to October 15), the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center will recognize and celebrate the heritage and culture of Hispanic and Latino Americans during its annual celebration on Thursday, September 17, 2015.
Keynote speaker Sol Villasana, will share the history and relevance of this celebration. Villasana is a civil trial lawyer with White Wiggins, LLC and has over thirty years of experience in the Dallas and regional legal community. There will be a special performance by the Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico dancers. Local Dallas artists, including Iris Candelaria, founder of ArtLoveMagic, will have Latin inspired artwork on display during the event. Light refreshments will be served.
When: Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Where: The Martin Luther King Recreation Center Activity Room, located at 2901 Pennsylvania Avenue.
