A Mother’s Love

No one can explain the love of a mother,
Not even a mother herself.
This intense love defies description
By mother and by everybody else.

The love of a mother defies understanding.
It is a love that never gives up.
A mother just keeps on loving and loving;
For loving her child replenishes her cup!

A mother’s love is patient and forgiving
When the love of others’ may be forsaking.
It never fails; it never falters
Even when her heart may be breaking.

Thank God for mother’s unending love!
For even when the world condemns,
This tender and protective love
Still sparkles like the rarest gem!
