A Little Bit of Faith: His Purpose

Right now you might be in a difficult situation and you’re not sure how you’re going to get out of it. You may have tried your best to get another job, to keep your marriage together, to help your child to stay in school, but somehow things still seem to have fallen apart.  Nevertheless, don’t give up hope, God is on your side.

In the book of Romans it says, “We know that all things work together for the good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose,” (Romans 8:28).  The key words in this verse are “His purpose”. Whatever you may be going through, if you believe in the Father, it will work itself out according to how it will fit into God’s purpose for your life. Ouch!

Yes, the Christian life can have its ups and downs. However, with the difficulties we face, all of it is “according to His purpose,” (Romans 8:28). We should always believe and know that whatever the difficulties we may have, it will work out for our good. There is something to be learned if you’re going through a storm.

So if you’re in a mist of a storm, you may want to pray that God work things out “according to His purpose,” for your life. It can be difficult waiting for the good to come. Knowing this, continue to seek God and His will for your life. Know that He has you in a position where you are willing and ready to hear from Him.

Continue to press on and have faith. God is on your side and things will work out the way they should. God sees you and He hears your prayers. Perhaps this situation is preparing you for something greater. Seek His will for your life, and He’ll provide the way. Amen? Amen.
