A Little Bit of Faith: Blessings

Are you accepting things that are less than what your Heavenly Father would have for you? Many of us do. We are used to accepting less than God’s best for our lives because we have become used to it. We don’t expect more.  What does this mean? This means we have stopped expecting God to do something greater in our lives.

Nevertheless, if we keep our hope, faith, and trust in Him God is able to change things around to allow His favor to chase us down. The Bible says, “…All and all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you if you heed the voice of the Lord your God” (Deuteronomy 28:2). The key word in this verse is “heed”. We must be willing to hear God’s voice and then listen to it and act upon it.

Whatever God may be speaking to your heart about, you must believe that He is able to do what He says He will do. Do not doubt Him! God can change the negative into a positive in the blink of an eye. But if you continue to walk in doubt and wanting His blessings, you’re fooling yourself.

Our Heavenly Father wants us to believe in Him and His word and His power. If we believe, our blessings are coming for us. It may not happen when you want it, it might not look the way you think it should, but if God said it, then you can believe it. “…Heed the voice of the Lord your God” (Deuteronomy 28:2). Are you ready to receive your blessings? I know I am. Amen? Amen.
