A Little Bit of Faith: : A Little Bit of Faith: A Year of Appreciation
|Happy New Year! “Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords!” (Psalm 136:3) With the New Year now here, we have much to be thankful for. For some of us, 2013 may have been a difficult year. However, we made it! We have to remain hopeful that God is able to work out all of our circumstances in according to His will and time. No matter what, God is always right on time.
My desire for the New Year is to give thanks to God on a daily basis. I want to be able to thank Him for the small and the large things in my life. I want to be able to thank Him whether I am happy or sad. I want to be able to thank Him when things are going well and when things are not going well. I want to have a heart of thankfulness this year.
My simple New Year’s resolution is to be able to find something every day that I can thank God for. I think if all of us are able to focus more on Christ in the New Year, we will have very little to complain about. God likes when we are willing to focus on Him and tell Him how much we appreciate and adore Him.
How much do you appreciate God? Think about it and let Him know every single day this year. Sounds like a plan. Are you willing to jump on the band wagon to give thanks to God each day this year? I know I will.
Amen? Amen.
