Welcome DeLancey Johnson SVP & Associate CTO

Please welcome DeLancey Johnson, DBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, sHRBP, to Parkland as Senior Vice President & Associate Chief Talent Officer, where he helps provide strategic leadership in the planning and implementation of quality-based, integrated human resources (HR) programs. Dr. Johnson comes to Parkland with more than 20 years of HR expertise across international and domestic markets, public and private sectors, and non-profit and for-profit organizations; including multiple health systems in Texas and Florida. He is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, sHRBP), and a member of the North Texas chapter of American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHENTX). Most recently, Dr. Johnson has served as Corporate Employee Relations Director for Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Florida, providing consultative HR services to all leadership levels, developing and managing diversity and inclusion strategies and creating talent development centers to support continuous development. Dr. Johnson earned a Doctor of Business Administration (specializing in human resources management) degree from Northcentral University in Scottsdale, Arizona as well as a Master of Business Administration from Syracuse University. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Edward Waters University.
