VOTE NO!
|As near life-long residents of Dallas and leaders of the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce, we have committed our professional careers to making a difference and impact at Dallas City Hall. In additional to our constant fight on behalf of Black contractors, vendors, and the overall M/WBE program, Harrison currently serves on the Parks & Recreation Board and Randall currently serves on our Dallas Area Rapid Transit Board.
Regardless of who is appointed as the City Manager and who is elected as the Mayor and Council, we will remain in this fight on behalf of our 900 plus chamber members. That’s why we are sounding the alarm to tell you that we are in the fight of our lives against the City of Dallas Charter Amendments S, T, & U.
These 3 propositions would result in a major step backwards for our community, hamper the city’s ability to keep basic services, and place hundreds of unqualified police officers on our streets.
Democracy will truly be on the ballot this election from the top all the way to the bottom ending with these last 3 proposed amendments. When you get there,
