FREDDIE DENICE ABRAMSThe phenomenal woman that has been chosen for the Achievement Award from the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., Alpha Rho Chapter, in the great Southwest Region since 2010 and has tirelessly worked on several committees. Freddie currently is the Corresponding Secretary and has held this position since 2010.

During many of the local, regional, and national conferences of the NSPDK, Freddie provides superb technological delivery of presentations, demonstrations and illustrations. You will also find her as a very active participant in the melodious musical choir during any chapter gatherings regionally and nationally.

Soror Freddie Has Truly been A viable asset to the Alpha Rho Chapter in rendering the many gifts and talents that she possesses. She is a woman of integrity and is self-less in sharing her quality skills towards enhancing the direction of the chapter. She is truly one that exemplifies sisterhood and collegiality.

Soror Freddie Denice Abrams was also initiated into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Incorporated in the Phenomenal Phi Chapter at Wiley College in Marshall, Texas in the spring of 1988. During her tenure as a Wiley Wildcat, Freddie served as a Basileus of Phi Chapter and a Gospel Disc Jockey on KBWC radio station. As an active member of Omicron Mu Omega Chapter since 2008, Soror Freddie serves on the Technology and AKAlades committees.

Soror Freddie received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. She later obtained a Master of education Administration from Prairie View A & M University. Freddie holds a Mid-Management Certification, and is employed as an Educator at John Quincy Adams Elementary School in the Dallas Independent School District.

In addition to her sorority activities, Soror Freddie is a member of Mesquite Friendship Baptist Church, where she serves in the Sanctuary and Women of worth Choirs. She also enjoys working with the Audio Video Ministry. She is the proud parent of one daughter, Kalli Jasuria Alexander.
