Vet Centers to provide outreach services at Richland College

The Dallas Vet Center and the richland-college will visit the VA Orientation for Students and the Community on August 16, 2014, at Richland College, located at 12800 Abrams Road, Dallas, Texas 75243 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

This event is co-sponsored by the Dallas Vet Center and Richland College.

Services offered by the Dallas Vet Center include:

• Individual, group, and family readjustment counseling to Veterans and their families in making a successful transition from combat to civilian life.

• Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) treatment and help with other related problems that affect functioning within the family, work, school, or other areas of everyday life.

• Military sexual trauma counseling for Veterans of both genders, regardless of combat service.

• Veterans and families needing more information should call the Dallas Vet Center at (214) 361-5896.

• The Dallas Vet Center is located at 10501 N. Central, Suite 213, Dallas, Texas 75231. To better serve Veterans and their families, the hours of operation are:

o   Mondays – 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

o   Tuesdays – 8 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

o   Wednesdays – 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

o   Thursdays – 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

o   Fridays – 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
