Top LadiesTop Ladies of Distinction, Incorporated, Dallas Chapter, hosted its First Annual Top Teens Alumni Soirée Sunday, November 23, 2014, at the African-American Museum, in recognition of the 50th Year celebration of the founding of Top Ladies Distinction, Incorporated. For fifty years, Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. has sponsored and participated in activities in the Dallas area and nationwide centered around the five major thrust of the organization, which are Top Teens of America, Beautification, Senior Citizens, Status of Women and Community Partnerships.  Alumni of Top Teens of America from the 1960’s through the year 2000 spoke of their experiences as members and the positive impact Top Teens had on their lives, careers and service to the community.  Dallas Chapter President and First National President of Top Teens of America, Harnell Williams,  acknowledged former Top Teens for their community service as Top Teens, for serving as mentors to youth and for their contributions to the Dallas community and their communities of residence nationwide. Former Top Teen, Dr. Cordell Adams, Dallas Opthalmologist and Ms. Nettye Medlock, 2014 National Top Lady of the Year, Mrs. Caritha Smith 1st Vice President were recognized for their service to the Dallas Chapter, Top Ladies of Distinction, Incorporated and the community.
