Elizabeth Draper DotsonMrs. Dotson was  born on  March 20, 1911 to the late Willis and Ida Draper, Greenwood, LA.

She attended schools in Greenwood and completed her high school education at Central Colored High School, Shreveport, LA.

She  was  baptized  at  the  Old  Greenwood  Baptist  Church at  an  early  age  by  the  late  Rev.  Luke  Allen. Aunt  Elizabeth,  as  she  was fondly called, cherished  her happy  childhood days  with her twelve –(12) siblings.  After  marrying,  she  moved  to Los  Angeles,  CA   where  she  lived  for most  of  her  adult  life.

She  was  preceded  in  death  by  her  late  husband,  Mr. Hersey  Dotson,  and  her  twelve brothers  and sisters:  Issac Draper, William Draper, Barbara Draper Anderson, Ivory Draper  Anderson, Ora  Lee Draper  Berry, Carrie Draper  Ballinger,  Martin Van Buren  Draper, Clara  Draper,  Beatrice Draper Mays, Middie  Rose  Draper  Smith, and  Walter  Leon  Draper. Her  most  recently  expired  sister  was  Mrs . Sammie L. Draper Holt. She leaves special sweet  memories  to  her  many  nieces,  nephews,  great  nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
