Southwest Center Mall Celebrates Local Legends

The community is invited to join Peter Brodsky and Southwest Center Mall in honoring local legends during a Black History Month celebration on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at 3 p.m. at the Southwest Center Mall, 3662 West Camp Wisdom Road, Dallas, TX 75237.

Outstanding community leaders Dr. E. K. Bailey, Louis Bedford, Dr. Emmett Conrad, Juanita Craft, Yvonne Ewell and Mildred and Fred Finch will be honored throughout the celebration. The program will include Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Erik Wilson, guest speaker Larry James, CEO City Square, St. Luke Community United Methodist Choir, Lyriq Turner, winner of the MLK Oratory Contest, Billy Prode, musical talent and South Oak Cliff Color Guard.
