Local Spotlight

This week’s local spotlight is State Representative Yvonne Davis pictured with Rev. Dr. And Mrs. C. J. R. Phillips, Jr. who is senior pastor of St Phillips Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas along with Texas  Speaker of the House, Dennis Bonnen, At the State capitol in Austin, Texas.  Dr. Phillips recently served as Chaplain of the Day. Representative Davis sponsored Dr. Phillips who was responsible for providing the opening prayer for that particular day of the legislative session.
