LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL CLASS REVIVAL

The Lincoln High School class of 1959 is hosting their 10th summer revival July 16th -July 17th at 7:00 pm at the Greater New Zion Baptist Church located at 2219 Pine Street in Dallas, Texas. Rev. Joe E. Patterson is the host Pastor. Our theme this year is “We have come this far by faith. ” (Mark 11:22)

The Lincoln High School class of 1959 had an extraordinary gift bestowed upon them. They had the following seven ministers in their class: Rev. Solomon Roberson (deceased), Rev. Carlos Bates, Rev. Clinton Madison, Rev. Joe E. Patterson, Rev. Lorenza Walker, Rev. Willie Peterson and Rev. Willie J. Davis.

There will be a musical celebration on July 16th at 7:00 pm featuring soloists and musical groups that have participated in the class revival for the past ten years. On July 17th, Rev. Allen Madison of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church will bring the message honoring “The Magnificent Seven Ministers. ”

Mrs. Cecelia Clark has served as the chairperson for the entire ten years of the revival. She states, “The Holy Spirit has led our class on a wonderful spiritual journey. We feel truly humbled and enriched for it. ”
