Since 1975, Leadership Dallas has identified and cultivated diverse leaders who are committed to serving as catalysts for positive change in the Dallas Region. Individuals who are invited to join Leadership Dallas are already influential members of the community. Each year, up to 55 professionals are selected to participate in this 10-month program, which includes a two-day retreat, nine day-long sessions, a community service project, and opportunities to network and explore the region with fellow class members. “Leadership Dallas plays a key role in developing our future leaders and provides a valuable outlook on the challenges and opportunities that face our community,” said Kari Nelson, Director of the Leadership Dallas program. “I am impressed every year by the motivated and diverse professionals who step up to the plate and apply for this program. Our alumni continue to positively impact the region, and I am confident the Class of 2017 will be another strong group of emerging leaders.”

An optional information session is offered for prospective applicants to ask questions, hear specific requirements for the program, and learn how to apply.

“If you are interested in Leadership Dallas, the best way to learn more about the program is to attend the upcoming information session where alumni will be on hand to answer questions and provide advice on the application process,” said Monica Egert Smith, the 2016 Leadership Dallas Alumni Association Chair.
