KARMA IN CONCERT AT SOC BATTLE OF BANDS CEDAR CREST COMMUNITY FEST THIS SATURDAY
|KARMA, America’s Newest Teen R&B /Pop Sensation, to deliver their powerful ANTI-BULLYING message at the 29th Annual Battle of the High School Bands, Saturday, Sept. 27. Later that evening at 2 pm, the touring trio will perform at the Cedar Crest Trinity River Community Fest during “Art and Music Meet the Environment showcase” at On the Blvd 3342 Cedar Crest @ 11th Street..
This all-girl group consists of 3 stunning, super gifted, and well-grounded young ladies: Kirsten, Journey and Miesha Michelle. The girls are best known for their strong voices, sassy synchronized dance moves and empowering positive lyrics. Their love of God, strong family values and fun can-do spirit have enabled Karma to gain fans and garner rave reviews by delivering a high energy, thrilling concert
experience at schools, churches and festivals all over!
The Cedar Crest Community Fest starts at 9am with a Bike and Hike with Dallas
Councilman Dwaine Caraway and his get fit program.
The all day event includes an day Park and Party tailgate for all year high school and college alumni, barbecue vendors, drink, and family fun.
An Art show “The Trinity and Three Artists” is from 10-6 with The Trinity and Three Bands, Live Entertainment at Old School FRAT Fest with D’ Va D ,
Lewis Anderson and Company, and Old School. Free to the Public, Free Parking until 6p. All day ,come and go parking tailgate $10.00 Post Game Parking $5.00 Concert $5.00 Admission Free with Tailgate Parking.
The battle OF BANDS will feature bands from Justin F. Kimball High School, Sunset High School, Wilmer-Hutchins High School, Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center and more. On-air personalities from K104 FM will host the event. The battle is sponsored by the South Oak Cliff High School Band Boosters LIVE from Kincaide Stadium at Jessie Owens Memorial Complex, 9191 South Polk St., Dallas, TX 75232.
Tickets are on sale now at each participating high school for $10 pre-sale, or you may purchase tickets at the gate for $15.”
Karma’s initial Regional tour for the 2013-2014 school year, aptly named “Stop the
Bullying,” was experienced face-to-face by more than 95,000 students at 177 schools throughout the Mid-south region, where they have amassed nearly half-a-million Instagram followers.
