“HISTORY NEVER SLEEPS”

The S. M. Wright Freeway issue has been solved! The freeway signs will be going back up. Its history-after-the-history. The saga is a visionary’s dream for a powerful documentary. It’s renown history and can be righteously summed up justly in four main parts. Herein are the four parts: The Outrage The Rewind The Reimagined The Restored.
History never sleeps. On Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Dallas City Hall, there was an ‘after-party” of patiently waiting concerned citizens on the ground floor atrium waiting for the Dallas City Council to adjourn. The time was noon, with a serious sunny temperature of 101 degrees. Dallas City Council Chambers are on the 6th floor of City Hall. Before descending down from the 6th floor to their awaiting audiences, the Dallas City Council passed a historic highly anticipated vote.
Not sure how much of a “summer break” our council members enjoyed but we are certain it was a working summer break. Done outstandingly well, so…. Many… working… hands brought this matter to a happy ending, but noteworthy is The Honorable Carolyn King Arnold who took the call from homeowner Pastor S.M.Wright, Jr., who lives in her district to The Honorable Adam Bazaldua who represents the district where the church and foundation are addressed.
From the all citizens of Dallas County, we appreciate your fortitude and unwavering attention to this matter. The atrium was packed. Spirits were high and engaging. With Two Podners, Rev. Fred Conwright and Company, on site with all their signature foods, it was indeed a time to celebrate. Our visitors, pastors and friends from afar who journeyed to the great City of Dallas were not disappointed with how well and complete we ‘corrected-a-wrong’.
