First 2015 Quest Honoree Catrina M. Craft
|Each year the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce announces outstanding entrepreneurs in the metroplex to honor at the “Annual Quest for Success Luncheon”. This occasion is one of the most attended and prestigious luncheon of the year held always in February. This year we decided to highlight indepth the six(6)honorees that made up the 31th class of the Quest for Success recipients
sponsored by one of the oldest chambers in the nation. Our first 2014 quest honoree is a city treasure, Catrina M. Craft, CPA.
Catrina graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA, Accounting in 1991, She received her Masters, Accounting- Taxation in 2005 from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Catrina M. Craft is a CPA and a true entrepreneur at heart. And since I think everyone needs a passion to function at optimum level necessary to succeed, Catrina’s passion is strategizing about business tax savings and business growth. As a certified public accountant, Catrina mentioned on LinkedIn that “I work with small and medium sized business owners to develop financial goals and create plans to achieve success”.
Catrina is CEO, Founder, of C. M. Craft, PLLA, a Certified Public Accounting Firm, where they empower individuals and business owners to achieve financial success through wealth accumulation, while utilizing creative tax strategies. Some of her strategies have been in the entertainment and sports industry. In the entertainment industry she is coined as the “CPA to-the-Stars, carving out a niche servicing talent, directors, producers, writers in film, television and radio.
Dr.T. R. Lee, Publisher of The Dallas Post Tribune is more familiar with Catrina’s parents who he speaks very highly of. I asked him more about Mr. and Mrs. Craft. His ready answer was they both are great leaders in the City of Dallas and their combined contributions to society are too numerous to measure.
