DeSoto ISD Hosts 8th Annual Back to School Fair

The DeSoto ISD Back to School Fair will be held at DeSoto High School, 600 Eagle Drive, from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, August 6. Backpacks with supplies are only for current DeSoto ISD students, however, all area students can receive free shots and other available resources.

“This is the premier event in South Dallas County for immunizations,” said Zachary Thompson, director of DCHHS. “DeSoto ISD invites families to one-stop-shop, if you will, for all their back to school needs, and they do it right with a fun family atmosphere.”

The expanded resource fair area will include more community and district tables including digital IDs for children, spirit wear for families, tutoring opportunities, curriculum information, Council of PTAs sign-ups, and much more!

Major sponsors for the 2016 event include Methodist Charlton Medical Center, Walmart Distribution Center, and Bank of DeSoto.
