Twenty-three young men honored for their achievements

Debbie Denmon, Director of Communications for the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office and former WFAA anchor/reporter, will join KXAS NBC 5 reporter Randy McIlwain to serve as masters of ceremonies at the 37th Annual Beautillion on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. Sponsored by the Dallas Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., the scholarship event will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel, 15201 Dallas Parkway.

During the formal ceremony, 23 African-American young men from across the DFW area will be presented to the community for their academic and personal achievements as well as their commitment to community service.

The young men are all graduating seniors who have completed several months of leadership training and will compete for college scholarships as members of the 2014 Beautillion Corp. This year’s theme is A League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Beautillion is the Dallas Chapter’s largest fundraising effort. The evening culminates with a rites of passage ceremony and the scholarship awards presentation.

The young men are: Livingston Albritten III, Evan Andrews, Nathan Armstrong, Austin Barnes, Malcolm Bowman, Jeremy Brown Jr., Alonzo Burris Jr., Jordan Butler, Michael Xavier Daniels, Brennan Dawkins, Justin Honore, Matthew Jones, Richard McCants II, Harrison Perkins, Jonathan Sanders, Jabari Sherman, Darius Spann, Spencer Toliver, Autry L. Warren III, Charles Willis III, Clarke Wilson, John Wilson IV, and Michael Wright.
