Dallas Mavericks LogoThe Dallas Mavericks have partnered with Tixsee to debut an innovative and immersive ticket shopping experience on Mavs.com.

Tixsee takes Mavs fans on a virtual tour of AmericanAirlinesCenter, including restaurants, seating sections, suites, concession stands and The Hangar Fan Shops. It provides a realistic perspective from all seating locations, but goes one-step further by giving fans a new ticket and merchandise buying experience.

“We’re excited to give our fans a new, interactive way to tour our arena and find the perfect seat to a Mavs game,” said Ken Bonzon, Chief Technical Officer of the Dallas Mavericks.

The Mavericks are the first professional sports franchise to deploy Tixsee’s software on a 360º panoramic virtual tour powered by Google Street View, and will utilize the largest Google Business View virtual tour ever shot and published to Google Maps. The tour is comprised of 12,444 high-resolution panoramic photos stitched together to create 1,037 360º images. Photography was provided by Frank Clark – VP of Business Photos America.

“Our vision is to partner with organizations like the Dallas Mavericks to create engaging and entertaining experiences for fans,” said Brett Dowling, President of Tixsee.  “We believe the conventional methods of ticket shopping delay the fan experience and do not provide the content that fans most value.”
