CongratulationsTo Mrs. Evelyn Foster Hamilton

On January 31, 2015 at the Doubletree Hotel at 12:00 Noon Mrs. Evelyn Foster Hamilton will honored by Omicron-mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. for “fifty” outstanding years of service and leadership to the Sorority.

At press time: Mrs. Hamilton stated her interest in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Began with her fourth grade teacher, the late Mr. O. Biner Watson a member of alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. she was also influenced by her favorite high School teacher and Choir director, the late Mrs. Mae Frances Wilson, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Evelyn Hamilton attended events for teenage young ladies sponsored by Gamma Omicron Omega Chapter in Tyler, Texas and other cities throughout Texas. As a freshman at Wiley College in Marshall, Texas she was presented as a Nu Omega Chapter Debutante.

Evelyn was initiated in Phi Chapter in 1965. She was known on the campus at Wiley College, as an outstanding and talented Student and leader.

Today, she is married to her Wiley College Sweetheart, Leon Hamilton who is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. they have one son Leon Edric Hamilton Jr. They are members of St. Luke Community United Methodist Church. Her lovely talented sister, Sandra Foster Brown is also a member of Omicron Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.

The Dallas Metroplex joins members of Omicron Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. as they honor this outstanding member for fifty years of dedicated Service and leadership.
