The historical information to be displayed is housed in the Dallas Municipal Archives division of the City Secretary’s Office. Code Three: Selections from the John F. Kennedy/Dallas Police Department Collection includes police procedural records regarding the murder of Lee Harvey Oswald and the arrest of Oswald’s murderer, nightclub owner Jack Ruby, as well as the investigation of the murder of Dallas Police Officer J.D.
