Celebration of Life Mrs. Alberta Rosewell Turner
|Alberta Rosewell Turner graced the world with her presence on October 24, 1913. She was born in Avinger, Texas to Thomas Rosewell and Zilphia Searcy Rosewell
In 1934, Alberta married Ray Turner. The couple has one child, Audrey Jewel Turner, and the young family moved to Dallas, Texas.
After a long and full life, rich with love, Mrs. Turner leaves mourn her passing her devoted daughter, Audrey Turner Sockwell; two granddaughters, Adrienne Colette Sockwell and Deanna Lynn Sockwell; two great granddaughters, Saidat Adelakun and Falilat “Lolly” Adelakun; sister-in-law, Amry Rosewell; four nieces, Rosalind Lewis, Madeline Rosewell, Cheryl Jenkins and Frances osewell; two nephews, Thomas Rosewell and Henry “Chuck” Hicks; cousins, Bennye Webster Jones, Johnnie Mae Wooten, and Joyce Venters; and dear family friend Rhuzell Beamon; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Turner moved from Dallas, Texas to Houston, Texas in 2003 and joined brookhollow Baptist Church. She passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014 and returned to Dallas to be laid to rest, next to her husband.
