Catch ’em all! Dallas Zoo hosts first Pokémon Go Night
Zoo stays open late Saturday with lured PokéStops
Elusive Pokémon have invaded the Dallas Zoo, with more than 30 PokéStops and three gyms in or near the 106-acre park. This Saturday, Aug. 27, the zoo will open from 6-9 p.m. for Pokémon trainers to catch ’em all with lures dropped throughout the park on pathways and in guest areas.
At 6:30 p.m., guests can take a break to catch Wonders of the Wild presented by Kimberly-Clark, a dynamic, interactive 20-minute wildlife show featuring birds and mammals from all over the world. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, including a barbeque on Cat Green, and some Zoo animals will be out to observe while in their habitats.
Guests are cautioned to play safely with these tips posted on the zoo’s website.
- Price: $7 for non-members; free for members
- Purchase tickets at the gate
- Parking is $5 per vehicle
