Big Brothers Big Sisters CEO Pierce Bush, grandson of George H.W. Bush, welcomed guests and gave a heartfelt presentation sharing his personal experience of being a Big Brother for six years to his Little Brother, Jaylyn. This year’s ball included a cocktail reception, seated dinner, live entertainment by Downtown Fever, as well as a silent and live auction, including an exclusive Super Bowl 50 package for two to San Francisco, CA. 450 people were in attendance with $315,000 raised for this worthy cause. There are currently more than 3,000 children waiting for a Big Brother or Big Sister. Funds raised at this year’s event will assist the organization in continuing to serve current Bigs and Littles and in recruiting additional mentors.
