Beta Iota Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated celebrated its 75th anniversary

During the homecoming celebration the weekend of November 21, 2014 on the campus of Xavier University of New Orleans, Louisiana. Two hundred plus Kappas initiated in Beta Iota Chapter returned to remember the rich history of the chapter and celebrate its future. The anniversary weekend activities consisted of a meet & Greet, golf, tail gate party and a community services event. The culminating activity was a closed banquet at which the Kappas of Beta lota Chapter recognized, Floyd F. Ferguson, who is one of the oldest living members of the chapter. Floyd Ferguson was initiated in Beta lota Chapter 1950, and has been an active member Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated for 64 years. Floyd Ferguson is a long time active member of the Dallas Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, incorporated.
