Following a month of wintery mixes of ice, snow, sleet and rain, March and April bring us into warmer temperatures perfect for the multitude of activity that typically takes place during the spring semester with testing, a variety of sports, and, for some, graduation.

The spring semester is a time of recognition for each senior class, a time many of our students will recant throughout their lives remembering celebrations of growth, accomplishment, success, and the major milestone of graduating high school to transition into college and the workforce.

INCLEMENT WEATHER MAKE-UP DAY

Due to the fact that Dallas ISD closed schools due to inclement weather conditions and concerns, the district will hold an inclement weather make-up day, Fri., Apr. 3. Students are expected to attend school on this date.

As April approaches, parents and students are preparing to put forth their utmost performance on the State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness which takes place March 30-31, April 21-22, May 4-8 and May 12-13.
