Mrs. Rosa Lee Starnes was born in Gilmer, Texas December 02, 1914 to the parents The late Mr. and Mrs. Skinner She was married to the late Mr. Charlie Starnes on November 29, 2014 Mrs. Starnes was showered with love and good cheer as she glided gracefully and forth fully over the hill into a fabulous brand new century. The celebration of her 100th year of life is an occasion for much rejoicing among her family and friends this proud matriarch shared many years of life and love with her late husband, Charlie Starnes and they Were blessed with children two sons and one daughter the late James, the late Charlie D. Starnes, daughter Merilyn Starnes, 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren, have been an ongoing source of pride a joy. Mrs. Starnes is a devoted woman of faith and is a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church in Gilmer, Texas. She is known for her charm and her generosity of Spirit, her family and friends. This 100 inspiring year’s young celebration was hosted by three of her grandchildren Barbara, Pat and Wayne in the home of their mother, Mrs. Merilyn Starnes.
