AN AMERICAN MORNING WITH DALLAS POLICE CHIEF DAVID BROWN
|My Day
By Dr. J. Ester Davis
A picture is worth a thousand words. The DFW community honored Dallas Police Chief David Brown with an ‘off-the-chain’ bravo appreciation on Friday, October 9, at Gilley’s. Standing room only with wall-to-wall celebrities, cultures, clergy, housewives, judges, truck drivers, corporate and political leaders. It was a view we see all too seldom and a rare look at a jubilant chief.
Remarks from the Chief were sobering. He acknowledged his officers and the goodness they portray in the communities daily. The news you do not hear about on duty and off duty. He mentioned an officer that painted a house for a veteran and just recently, we wrote about officers stopping by The Dallas Post Tribune with a grandeur story about a ninety-nine(99) year old active community worker.
