“I have fought the good fight, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing” (2 Timothy 4:7-8).

If you are a follower of Christ, then you have been through something in life. You are able to say that you have hung in there and you never gave up hope because Christ was with you. The strength that one gets from their faith in Christ Jesus is remarkable. You don’t lean on your own strength, you are leaning on God.

Being dependent on Christ helps you to grow as a Christian. You should not live your life independent of Christ. You should place all of your sorrows, your hurts, and pain down at the feet of Christ Jesus. This is what He wants us to do. In spite of our best intentions, we are unable to live a successful and happy life unless we are dependent upon Christ.

As we learn to live a life that pleases God, we still have our short-comings. We must constantly renew our minds in Him each day. Knowing that
we are unable to do anything without Him can help us to stay the course and finish the race. God knows our shortcomings, He knows our faults, and He knows our failures. We can win this race because Christ dwells within us.

Amen?

Amen!
