“I lift up my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth” (Psalm 121: 1-2).

Lord help me to remember that…

Whatever my problems may be, I can look toward the hills to thee.

Whatever comes my way, I can look toward the heavens to find a way.

When the storms come rolling in, I know that He is with me until the end.

When troubles won’t go away, the Lord is near and not far away.

If I fall, I know He will lift me up.

If I call, I know He will hear and draw me near.

When my body becomes frail and weak, the Lord will strengthen me.

When I have cried all night, the Lord will dry my eyes.

When my enemies surround me, the Lord will protect me.

If I lose my way, the Lord will lead me back to Him.

If I think I have no testimony to share, the Lord will remind me of all He has done.

Whenever I think more of myself, I am reminded that I always need the Lord’s help.

Whenever I become weary of people, the Lord reminds me that I am not an island.

When I think I’ve done all I need to do in His name, He reminds me that I’m not done.

When chaos surrounds me, the Lord reminds me He is my rock and my fortress.

The one last thing I know to be true is that the Lord is longsuffering and He is good!

Amen.
